- Fatigue, high temperature strength (creep) and residual life evaluation in high temperature components
- Research Area:
- In order to operate the high temperature components such as fossil power plant safely, the degradation mechanisms of the material e.g. fatigue and creep have been clarified and the residual rife evaluation procedures have been developed. Recent main researches are to make clear the very high cycle fatigue phenomena and to develop the small punch creep test procedure for residual life evaluation.
